Cancellation, Licensing, and Schedule Change News (6/23/08)
[NEWS] Tokyopop title Trinity Blood: Reborn on the Mars 3 is listed as canceled on Diamond Previews. They could still resolicit the volume later. At this time there is no evidence as to whether Trinity Blood: Rage Against the Moons is similarly affected. The series's ultimate fate is currently unknown. FLCL 2 and Goth will be coming out as scheduled.
[NEWS] Del Rey has licensed the Kara no Kyoukai two-volume novel series, based on the popular game franchise. This was reported by an Anime on Dvd staff reviewer here.
[NEWS] Seven Seas has been making changes to its release schedule again and Wicked City 1 has been pushed back to July 2009. They only list their releases through September, so no idea if other titles slated to begin in December have been similarly rescheduled.

[NEWS] Tokyopop Restructuring affects Light Novels (6/9/08)
Tokyopop's restructuring has resulted in title cancellations. The following light novel series have been canceled: Chibi Vampire, Gosick, and Missing. It is presumed that volume five of the Chibi Vampire novel series will hit shelves as scheduled. Goth will most likely also come out as scheduled due to the press announcement being released after news of the restructuring. The status of other series in their Pop Fiction line is currently unknown. More news as it breaks.
[NEWS]Kyo Kara Maoh Novels and The Case of a Dragon Slayer Licensed! (4/21/08)
Now that NY Comic Con is over, licensing announcements should slow down for a bit. TokyoPop has licensed the Kyo Kara Maoh! novels (along with their previously announced license of the manga) with the first volume due out in May 2009, and Del Rey has licensed The Case of a Dragon Slayer by Kouhei Kadono (author of the Boogiepop series), due out in February 2009. CMX has also licensed the Ballad of a Shinigami manga (novel series is already being released by Seven Seas).
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Light Novels and Manga Licensed! (4/18/08)
[NEWS] That's right, if you haven't already heard, Little, Brown has licensed the Haruhi novels and Yen Press has licensed the manga series! The first volume of the manga is due out in October, and the first light novel is available for preorder in hardcover and paperback and will be coming out on April 1, 2009.

[NEWS] If you've been keeping up with the forums you've already heard that DMP is releasing Fafner: Dead Aggressor, Juné has licensed five BL novels, Seven Seas has licensed the children's series, Kuro Majo-san ga Touru!!, and Tokyopop has licensed Goth.
[SITE] We've consolidated the license list and review sections. The Upcoming Section continues to be regularly updated as usual. The release dates for several Seven Seas titles, in particular, have been shuffled around a lot, with some 2008 releases postponed to 2009.
