Loups-Garous Anime Film
Either Haikasoru’s licensing of Loups-Garous was highly felicitous or they had an inside line on the news that Loups-Garous is being adapted into an anime film to be released in 2010. Bandai Visual, Kitty, Kinoshita Koumuten, Dentsu, and Mixi are co-producing the film which will be animated by Project I.G. and Transarts.

The translated novel will be available in stores under the Haikasoru label in January 2010. Author Natsuhiko Kyogoku had two previous works, Mouryou no Hako and Requiem from the Darkness turned into anime series last year and in 2003 respectively. His first novel, The Summer of the Ubume, the first book in the Kyougokudou series (which also includes Mouryou no Hako) is available in English from Vertical.
